You can take the original PS3 HD out, back up all of your save data of course and anything else you have on there you want.
(You have to cut the tiny plastic piece off of the Male SATA end so it will fit in the PS3 SATA slot) (This is the best one to use IMO, it blends well with the look of the PS3) (You can use any HD you like as long as it's SATA) Obviously I get 1080p movies and transfer them to the PS3 via this method.

You could just install MacDrive on your PC and then have files bigger than 4GB. I believe the PS3 also reads HFS+ no? Maybe thats just the x360
